Photo taken at Dominus Flevit Church, in Jerusalem, Israel. Dominus Flevit – “The Lord has wept”. A Catholic Franciscan church, on the foothill of the Mount of Olives. The church is shaped as a tear drop. It is likely here or near here that Jesus visualized the destruction of Jerusalem and wept.

Kinneret is the Hebrew name for the Sea of Galilee which is a lake in Northern Israel where Jesus is said to have walked on water. The word Kinneret, also spelled Kineret, is a girl’s name of Hebrew origin, meaning “harp.”

Photo taken while walking the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, atop the Mount of Olives in Israel.

Background info: Crowds gather around Jesus and believe in Him in John 12:9-11 after He raised Lazarus from the dead, and the next day the multitudes that had gathered for the feast in Jerusalem welcome Jesus as He enters Jerusalem.

In Matthew 21:1–11, Mark 11:1–11, Luke 19:28–44, and John 12:12–19, Jesus descends from the Mount of Olives towards Jerusalem, and the crowds lay their clothes on the ground to welcome Him as he triumphantly enters Jerusalem.

And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:

“Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!
